Interns that already have come to Buenos Aires are more than happy to share their experiences with you!
Buenos Aires is a great place to live in and it is really a city that never sleeps! The Argentines are super kind and want to help you with everything. Moreover, you will meet people from all around the world.
As an intern I worked at a NGO that has as their mission to defend the most vulnerable groups in the Argentinian society by focussing on the promotion en strengthening of fundamental rights and laws.
With two other interns from New York we were responsible for fund raising and contacting partners in Europe. All the activities will make you more aware about what kind of social problems Argentina has, and included a visit to a slum since they are active there with a lot of volunteers. Since everybody speaks Spanish it is also a great opportunity to practice your Spanish language skills.
Internship BA is a well-organized organization and was very helpful and always available for my questions. Wouter who received me in Buenos Aires also visited me at the office to see if everything was going well. Muchas gracias Wouter!

Buenos Aires is truly a great city to live and work in. There is plenty to do. Theater, restaurants, markets and lots of parties. The Argentines are very friendly and do not be surprised if at the first meeting you will be invited to a party or an ‘asado’, the Argentinean BBQ.
And if you are tired of the bustle of the city you can go to a park on the outskirts of the city or for a few days to a ‘ranch’, a two hour drive out of town.
About Internship BA. Great company and always helped me when needed. We have had regularly contact to see if all went well with me. I did not know exactly where I wanted to live so I asked Internship BA to advise me: I have lived in a very nice house in Palermo, a district where many cafes, restaurants and clubs are.
Something about the language. I did not speak Spanish when I arrived, so communication was sometimes with hands and feet. I have taken many classes there and eventually I speak some Spanish, so do not let this deter you. But it makes communicating easier and your time in Buenos Aires more enjoyable.
My time in Buenos Aires was amazing, an unique experience!
My internship at a real estate company was very interesting and instructive, and I had the liberty to take on any job or assignment. I immediately felt welcome and was invited by colleagues to play football.
My impression is that Buenos Aires is a pleasant and safe city. I also had plenty opportunities to improve my Spanish.
Through Internship BA I ended up in a nice studenthouse. With my housemates we often organized an asado on the rooftop terrace and we went out together to bars and restaurants.
I would like to recommend every student an internship through Internship BA!

Buenos Aires is a very big and astonishing city and each neighbourhood has its own charm and quite European architecture style. It’s totally safer than what you probably expect and it has everything you may need – good, hot climate (especially December – May) , lots of restaurants, pubs, night clubs, parks, shops, convenient public transport, lots of opportunities for touristic sightseeing.
If your Spanish is not so good, it’s totally gonna be fine to ‘survive’ with only English, so no worries about that. I spent 5 months in that amazing city and I loved it. There are a lot of international students, so its quite easy to make friends and hang out together.
I have been working as a marketing intern at a tech startup. What I liked the most about it was the team spirit and the warm, open communication I could have with everyone, no matter if I’m in a working environment or hanging around with them in the city. The company I was working for was well-organized and I successfully completed my graduation thesis assignment.
The only disadvantage I can say about BA – well, there is no beach nearby :). To all of you planning to go there – just do it – its gonna be amazing. Personally, I didn’t plan to go to Argentina, it was a quick decision based on the fact that I love to travel as much as I can and as far as I can. So, doing an internship in BA was a great opportunity. Writing this testimonial made me so nostalgic, I can´t believe my time there for now is over. I hope one day I will visit and travel around South America because 5 months were definitely not enough.

When I look back on my time in Buenos Aires, I can only conclude that this was a fantastic adventure. Thanks to Internship BA I acquired the desired contacts in the capital of Argentina to do an internship in the marketing sector. Besides reception upon arrival I could always contact them for anything. All this has meant that I’ve had a great internship period of almost four months. I have met many interesting people and had the chance to explore this beautiful country.
In addition to learning the local language and getting to know the Argentine culture, there is still a lot to discover in the city. I enjoyed every moment and really learned a lot. I would highly recommend an internship here!

In the city you can do a lot, but really a LOT, and it is a good place to live and work.
At my internship everybody was very caring and helpful and I could greatly improve my Spanish. In addition, Internship BA has helped me finding a language school, really recommendable if you want to learn the language!
Also with housing, a warm welcome on the first day in Argentina and contacts with others I was very helped by Wouter of Internship BA.
I had a wonderful and educational time and learned a lot about the Argentine culture! Talking about culture: remember the words ‘mate’ and ‘asado’, which you will undoubtedly need 😉
Saludos!

Wouter of Internship BA has helped me a lot with finding a fun and challenging internship.
In addition, I have been very well supported in all the things that come by when going abroad for an internship. Had I any doubt about a topic, Wouter answered my questions within a day.
During my stay in Buenos Aires I always fell back on him, giving me a safe feeling. Even a few weeks after I had returned to the Netherlands, he still resolved a pending situation in Buenos Aires.
When something unexpected happens in Buenos Aires, Internship BA will always help you!

I had a great experience with Internship BA! Wouter found me a great internship, where I practiced my language skills and learned a lot about Argentine culture.
Upon arrival, Wouter showed me around the neighbourhood and helped me to get settled. Throughout my stay as well, Wouter always quickly responded to my questions and was happy to help. Also, he introduced me to other interns so it was easy to make new friends and make travel plans to see other parts of South America.
Wouter takes the time beforehand to get to know what you’re looking for from this trip and finds a suitable internship. And while in BA, he is checking in to make sure you’re enjoying the internship and your leisure time as well.
All in all, I would 100% recommend an internship through Internship BA!

Languages
I know the Netherlands as a safe country, with a stable economy and where people rate their lives an average of 8. What I liked about BA was that what the Netherlands can offer you do not have here. It is less safe, you see the prices of your milk rise every week, a lot of political and social problems and a lot of ‘hidden’ poverty. This sounds extremely negative, but I have not traveled to South America to live the same kind of life as in the Netherlands. In addition, the culture is also a lot warmer, you learn a new language and feel more sensuality and passion. What my image of BA was, was very different from other trainees, because I lived in San Telmo and worked in the ‘problem neighborhood’ La Boca.
Wouter found a perfect fitting internship that had to do with sexuality, a pin in a haystack!
I did an internship at an institution that helped residents of the La Boca neighborhood with, among other things, abuse and domestic violence. I did my graduation research on sexuality and culture in this neighborhood and then wrote a sexual education program for children, which is still used today. Together with my supervisor I gave play therapy to children and information meetings to (grand) parents where there was plenty of room for discussion.
Again that black edge made BA such a special time I never wanted to miss!
PS. Do not forget to travel (Patagonia) and study the ‘rules’ of the ‘seduction game’! Everything is more dramatic ;).

Buenos Aires, te amo! A great city to live and work in, where the possibilities are infinite. After 5 months of internship here I can say that I have gained a wonderful experience, both for my professional as personal development. With the numerous restaurants, discos, sights and great people there is always something going on, and you will not have to wonder what you are going to do. I have not felt unsafe for a moment, the people here are very friendly, and if you speak Spanish it is all just a bit more fun, but because of the big international community you’re also going to be fine with English, the best from anywhere in Latin America.
Internship BA helped me with finding an internship and a house, and also got all the necessary tools to make me feel right at home in this enormous city. I did an internship and wrote my thesis for a meat exporter (yes, they really have the best piece of meat here), where I was treated as family from day one, this is not something you experience in the Netherlands.
In short, do not hesitate and contact Internship BA, the personal guidance in combination with the great character of this city will make your internship one of the most beautiful experiences of your life, for me it certainly worked out!

Buenos Aires is a great city for your internship when you are young. It is a safe city with a good working public transportation, great nightlife and many (international) friendly people who like to share an asado (Argentinian BBQ) with you! The city is also located in a geographically ideal location that allows you to visit beautiful places on a flight distance, which is certainly recommended.
Of course it is not only about the social part of an internship abroad, but also doing an internship. Internship BA is perfect for this, they find an internship for you that suits your study and your requirements and they also help you to find a suitable home for your time there.
All in all I can only recommend an internship in Buenos Aires through this website!

The last 5 months in Buenos Aires were indescribable! Thanks to a fantastic house, where I ended up thanks to Internship BA. After work it was great to come home and relax with my roommates on the roof terrace.
Making friends was very easy in the city that never sleeps. There are many international students in the city, who all started the same adventure as you did. The city also has plenty of festivities, wonderful restaurants and night clubs that are start late at night.
At work I also had an instructive and fun time. Here I have been mainly active on
the production department where I have done research on customization. I have learned a lot from my supervisor about new economies and operations in Argentina.
Besides the work there were also after office drinks and I also had the opportunity to join
one of my colleagues to go skydiving. All in all Argentina, but mainly Buenos Aires was
unbelievable and has contributed a lot to my development.

To finish my studies, I needed to do an internship in a marketing environment.
I really wanted to do this abroad, but it was very difficult to find an internship by myself.
Internship BA has found a very nice internship for me in Buenos Aires and also arranged an apartment.
Wouter, the local contact, helped me with all the little things I needed to feel at home.
All in all a very good experience!

We are always trying our best to meet your needs, whether they be aimed at getting work experience, writing your thesis or doing volunteer work, we have the means to make this happen, just let us know.
This all depends on your profile and requirements. Most of the partnerships we have are with small companies and entrepreneurs in a variety of industries.
Our suggestion for interns is that they get fully involved in the projects, which will enrich their learning experience. Of course we can also aim our search towards internships with larger companies if that’s what is desired.
After the first interview with us, we will ask you to pay the registration fee.
After that we will send your resume to companies and entrepreneurs in our network. We will keep you updated regularly on the search. If there is mutual interest between you and the company, an interview will be planned.
Some tips we can give for a successful interview are:
If the interview is through Skype, use your webcam and dress appropriately for the type of business you wish intern at.
Do a brief bit of research about the company, industry, services or products. Try to include references about their field or give examples related to their business, let them know that you are prepared for the interview.
Try to familiarize yourself with wha they are looking for in a candidate.
Be honest at all times. It’s not the first time the interviewer does something like this and he/she has experience and can easily recognize a truth or a lie.
Ask as many questions as you can. This is the moment where you will have to get all the information about the company. Pay close attention to activities, working hours and other details of the offer.
The price of the total package is € 695 EUR including a registration fee of € 225 EUR (or the equivalent in USD).
In order for us to ensure that we are maximizing the use of our time and resources helping only serious requests we require a registration fee.
In the unique case that we cannot find anything for you, we will refund you this registration fee, so you won’t have any financial risk.
Regular travel insurance usually doesn’t cover an internship.
Check with you current insurance provider to see if the coverage is available for you while doing an internship abroad. Most student insurance plans offer this type of coverage.
If your passport is from one of the following countries mentioned below, it will not be necessary to apply for a visa in order to enter Argentina. You can do so on site in Buenos Aires with the help of our organization. Since most of the internships are unpaid, you can enter as a tourist.
